Step One: Initial Inspection
Walk thru to look at areas t
o be cleaned, what furniture is to be moved, address any problem areas
Step Two: Pre-Vacuum
Remove dry soil and animal hair
Step Three: Furniture moved:
Furniture moved, carpet cleaned, furniture replaced with tabs or blocks placed under legs to prevent staining.
Step Four: Pre-Spray:
All exposed carpet treated with safe preconditioning agent that breaks down soils and stains
Step Five: Pre-Treat difficult stains:
Difficult stains treated with specialty spotter (pet stains, rust, etc…)
Step Six: Extract and Rinse
Carpet is thoroughly rinsed with truck-mounted unit using hot water to extract pre-spray and soil.
Step Seven: Post Spot:
Spots that were not removed with extraction step are treated with specialty spotters and re-extracted.
Step Eight: Groom
Carpet is groomed which lifts and separates fibers, remove wand marks and helps the carpet to dry faster.
Step Nine: Install air movers
Air movers placed in room after cleaning to speed drying time.
Step Ten: Final Inspection
Walk thru to make sure client is happy with results. “Booties” give to put on feet to walk on damp carpet.
Extra step would be to apply carpet protector after extraction step
